In 2014 JRAY affiliated with BAA, sending JRAY’s top two winning actors (one male, one female) to New York to participate in BAA’s week-long program. Also, each year the top two JRAY winners are awarded a cash prize of $1,500, along with airfare and lodging to New York to attend BAA.
Broadway Artists Alliance provides professional training for promising young musical theatre performers—right in the heart of New York City! Participants study voice, acting, and dance with Tony Award winners and current Broadway performers, as well as NYC’s top casting directors, agents, coaches, and choreographers.
BAA specializes in Intensives, Workshops, One Day Master Classes, Weekly Class Series and Private Coaching for promising young performers ages 6-21. BAA’s expert staff challenges each student to develop his or her “Triple Threat” performance skills while learning about the business of acting and making connections with industry professionals. These promising young actors experience the best of Broadway and study with the masters!

2015 JRAY Winners: Kelsey Kato and Nicole Morris. Nicole’s performance at the BAA showcase caught the eye of a casting agent, who is currently representing her. Nicole also landed an audition, with a callback, for an ABC Christmas Special.
2014 JRAY Winners: Eli Labinger and Kyra Johnson. Seen at the BAA showcase for NYC casting directors and agents, Kyra was cast as Sophie in “Mamma Mia” for a one-year National Tour.
