Meet The B.A.A. Winners

Claire Marshall is JRAY’s 2018-2019 BAA Actress of the Year. Claire  is ecstatic to be the JRAY’s 2018-2019 BAA Actress of the Year! She played the role of Janet Van de Graaff in Yorba Linda High School’s production of “The Drowsy Chaperone.” Going into her senior year at YLHS, Claire could not be prouder to be representing her fellow Mustangs, and cannot believe she gets to learn from the best of the best in NYC!

Devin Ricklef is JRAY’s 2018-2019 BAA Actor of the Year. Devin is a freshman enrolled in the Helmerich School of Drama at the University of Oklahoma, studying for a BFA in Performance, Acting Emphasis. Devin played the Emcee in Fullerton Union High School’s production of Cabaret in 2019.

Jade Patteri is our 2018-2019 BAA Scholarship Winner.  Jade is so grateful to have been chosen to represent the JRAYS for the Broadway Alliance.  Jade was also honored as the 2019 Artist of the Year for the NYA awards. Village Christian Credits: Marian: Meredith Willson’s The Music Man  Cinderella: Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Annie Sullivan: Miracle Worker, Millie:Thoroughly Modern Millie, Jennie Mae: The Diviners (All earning her NYA Awards for Best Lead Actress), Mrs. Banks: Mary Poppins and Mrs. Darling in Peter Pan(both NYA Nominations for Best Supporting Actress), Diane: Human Comedy (CETA Best Supporting Actress),  and Corny Collins Kid: Hairspray. Professionally: Olivia in TWELFTH NIGHT at the Actors Co-Op in Hollywood, Young Jane/ Adele in the world premiere of Jane Eyre: The Musical and Ensemble: Brigadoon both with Fullerton Civic Light Opera, Snow Child in the Reprise Theater’s Carousel, and performing both at Disneyland and Knottsberry Farm.  Short Films: Angel in Master Media International’s Building Bridges which opened up the “Variety” Faith and Family Film Conference and Mary in Mary and Joseph. Jade writes and performs her own music with two songs earning song of the year for the NYA’s:  As a dancer Jade has backed up Jordan Fisher, Olivia Holt and Criscilla Anderson.
